| Alec was an instructor with the scout troop in the 60s/70s. A quiet unassuming man with impeccable manners, he was an extremely accomplished sailor. He passed on this knowledge and experience to the boys for several years. Alec was a member of Weybridge Sailing Club. He also had a coastal cruiser which he used extensively. |

| Sue was the better half of Richard Holley. She was always in support of the many activities that Richard was involved in, particularly Walton Firs. I first met Sue in 1965 at a small party at Gower House. I still remember those Gower House parties!! Sue was a cordon bleu chef. Frequently we would turn up at Sue and Richard's house after an event and she would say 'is anybody hungry?'. She followed this with 'I don't know what I have got in'. Fifteen minutes later a sumptuous meal was on the table. |
