Welcome

1st Walton on Thames Scout Group was formed in 1908, being one of the first registered scout groups in the country. It became a sea scout group in 1938 and adopted the Viking name some time later. 

Throughout it's history, the group has been very vibrant and this vibrancy was due to the group's members, leaders and supporters. 

Time goes by and as a natural turn of events people from the group pass on and this website is an attempt to capture the memory of the people and record their history in the group.
